We had our own mini National Day celebrations. Doing the American way with the Singapore style - a cookout with lots of food.

The complete spread. Local food - lor-mai-kai, chwee kueh, chai-bee-hoon and ginger chicken. American food - corn, salad, steak, chicken and bacon roll. Dessert - blue berry pie, white fugus soup and fresh fruits. Well, we are not call food lovers for nothing, right?

What's National Day without the National flag. If you don't have one, you create one, of course!

The star of the day - Philly steak :)

Dress code for the day - white & red. Happy National Day, Singapore. Love, from US 0f A
