So much FAITH

Today is mission emphasis Sunday in Evangel, the little church on a hilltop. All of you who have visited our home church in USA will know that this church is just a small church serving the people around the area.

There were no professionally printed mission pledge cards, just a simple slip of paper printed at home. Just like Grace AOG, we were supposed to pray and decide on the amount we wanted to pledge as God guides us. It was really amazing that such a small church, they have sent out eleven missionaries. These pledges were meant only for the outside of America mission work. What struck me most was that apart from sending out mission workers, Evangel also did alot of local mission work. These local works were supported by the offerings and tithes collected every week. Some of the local works which they helped are Teen Challenge, Allentown Rescue Mission, FRIENDS Inc....these works were aimed at helping all the under privileged Americans.

I saw so much Faith in this church, they are not your mega church with tons of money, they are just a simple church (they don't even have a proper screen to flash their lyrics during worship session) who has a heart for people and God's works. Do you really need alot of money to do His works? All you need is just FAITH as small as a mustard seed, all mountains will be removed.
