This is the real winter?

It has been rainning ice and in the afternoon, it snowed and last night there was still snow and it continued till this morning. You know what? The kid next door said that "you ain't see nothing yet!" My eyes almost pop out!

I love watching snowfall. This is how the snowflakes look like

Our front garden. In the night, snowfall is quite different. A different kind of beauty

The kids stepped out to play while their dad checked on our car

Our neighbour's Christmas lights looking really pretty in the snow

Our patio, all covered by the snow

The early morning...

At about 6am, the phone rang and it was a recorded message informing us that school will be delayed by two hours because of the heavy snowfall. Instead of starting school at 9am, school will star at 11am. A whole new experience for Kai and for all of us!

The Bear Creek mountain is almost all gone, covered by the snow and fog
