The little town of Bethlehem

We made our way to the little city of Bethlehem PA. We were there to catch 'The Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens, a musical. At the same time, we wanted to visit the City of Christmas, that's what Bethlehem is famous for.

Every year, during the Christmas season, people from all over USA and the world flock to Bethlehem to witness the sight and sound of the good old Christmas spirit. No, it is not your Orchard light-up, it is more of the old traditional way of celebrating Christmas. Afterall, Christ was born in Bethlehem.

Bethlehem is a 30 minutes drive from home. It was snowing when we made our way there.

Old historical bridges are a common sight. The Lehigh River runs through it

This was where we watched 'The Christmas Carol'. No, not your world class Esplanade theater...

...inside the theater

They may not have the world class equipments but it was definitely a world class act put up by the Pennsylvania Youth Theater

Famous Christkindlmarkt and the old historical Hotel Bethlehem

Huge 'Christmas presents' line the streets of Bethlehem
